Siemens held a launch ceremony today with Ningbo Kangscani Group for their smart factory cooperation project, jointly creating the first smart factory in China's wool spinning industry. In this project, Siemens will provide Kangscani's new smart factory with comprehensive planning consultation and implementation support in areas such as informatization planning, automation planning, factory planning simulation, and lean management.

Currently, Kangscani is planning to build a comprehensive intelligent cashmere yarn production industrial demonstration zone, planning to build ten annual total production 1000 tons of premium cashmere yarn intelligent unmanned production demonstration lines, creating an intelligent cashmere yarn design and green apparel product research and testing center. Siemens' digital enterprise expert team has provided in-depth and comprehensive consulting and planning for the construction of Kangscani's smart factory. In the future, Siemens' product lifecycle management ( PLM ) software suite's digital lifecycle management system will be applied during the construction simulation process of Kangscani's smart factory. Teamcenter as well as design, simulation, and manufacturing solutions NX Siemens' fully integrated automation solutions and industrial communication solutions will be comprehensively applied in the new smart factory, while Siemens' manufacturing execution system MES will support the optimized management of the entire production process.
