Guizhou Guihang Hongyang Sealing Parts Company Four-layer Extruder Control System

  The production line for automotive sealing strips requires simultaneous extrusion of four rubber strips of different sizes and shapes. Each rubber strip is extruded from material pellets softened through a high-temperature pipeline by an extruder, then combined into a sealing strip through a composite mold. There are precise requirements for temperature and extrusion speed of each extruder.

  The system's main unit uses a 1500 series PLC, featuring fast response time, integrated CPU display panel, and corresponding debugging and diagnostic mechanisms. The main unit inputs analog signals to four frequency converters, which control the extrusion of four extruders. It mounts four temperature control modules to achieve PID control of temperature. Feedback from various field points is realized through ET200SP remote I/O modules.

  When the material is softened through the high-temperature pipeline, the temperature of the pipeline needs to remain stable. If the temperature fluctuates, the plasticity of the material will be greatly reduced. The temperature of the high-temperature pipeline is generally around 150°C. If the PID is not properly tuned, heat dissipation at room temperature will be very fast at 150°C. Continuous heating may cause overheating, leading to combustion of the material inside the pipeline, resulting in the entire material pipeline being scrapped. This system uses an expert intelligent algorithm for temperature control, characterized by fast response, minimal overshoot, and high stability, maintaining the maximum temperature error within ±2°C, significantly lower than the manufacturer's ±5°C error range.
Changfei ACU Integrated Utility Tunnel Project
  ACU (Area Control Unit) is a regional control module set up to meet the needs of centralized management and transmission of numerous monitoring data in integrated utility tunnels/cable tunnels. It integrates signal acquisition, local control, data exchange, and remote networking.
  The ACU cabinet contains power supply, PLC, and switch. It uses small relays and double-layer terminal blocks, greatly reducing the cabinet size, facilitating installation and use in space-limited tunnels. Incoming and outgoing cables use aviation connectors, with a protection rating of IP65.

  The system uses a 1200 series PLC to collect combustible and harmful gas content, as well as temperature and humidity on site through analog modules, uploading data to the PLC. According to process requirements, it operates related fans and pumps to achieve automatic control of the underground tunnel environment. The cabinet contains two switches with optical ports, one as the incoming switch and one as the outgoing switch. ACU cabinets in the tunnel form a ring network via fiber optics, ensuring remote data transmission even if one switch fails.

  A Siemens touch screen is installed on the cabinet door, including data uploaded from various sensors in different zones and compartments, as well as start/stop operation buttons for fans and pumps on site, facilitating local operation and monitoring by inspection personnel.
