Siemens and Zhonglian Nengchuang Deepen Cooperation on New Energy Commercial Vehicle Electric Drive Systems

Siemens today held a signing ceremony with Shanghai Zhonglian Nengchuang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhonglian Nengchuang) for localized production cooperation of new energy commercial vehicle electric drive systems. The two parties will deepen local cooperation based on Siemens' global technology and development experience, localizing the production of Siemens' leading electric drive system technology to meet the needs of the Chinese market. Based on the cooperation, Zhonglian Nengchuang will produce electric drive system motors based on Siemens technology at its Suzhou factory, applicable to pure electric and hybrid commercial vehicles. This is another advancement in Siemens' ongoing efforts to promote localization of drive products and technology in China.

In the cooperation on new energy commercial vehicles, Siemens and Zhonglian Nengchuang will comprehensively deepen collaboration throughout the entire lifecycle of product development, production, after-sales service, and maintenance to create value for end users. At the same time, their cooperation will promote further adoption of new energy commercial vehicles in the Chinese market, reduce total energy consumption and emissions, thereby creating a more comfortable and green transportation environment.
